I got to go to the temple today. I’m so glad that I have a temple here in my mission. I can’t imagine what it would be like to not go to the temple for two years. The spirit there is so great and I love going there. I hope that I’ll always be able to be close to the temple.

Philippines Manila Temple

We actually had a good effective preparation day today. We got our apartment cleaned up a little bit. I cleaned the CR and it was really hot. I had to use water obviously and that made it more hot because of the humidity. I was really raining sweat and I kept having to stop in order to clean my glasses of sweat in order to still see. Anyways, now the CR looks a lot better. I also made a cover for my Tagalog scriptures today so that they don’t get ruined.

We had a long first review discussion with Brother Art today. I talked a log and felt good about it. When we were coming back to the apartment, Elder Tipton told me that we need to cut down on our discussion time. We’ve been having almost all of our discussions go for an hour or more and they shouldn’t go that long. I think this mostly my fault. I need to work on just saying what needs to be said and not going on and on about the same thing. I need to realize that they really are intelligent people and that they probably understand well.
